A single slab of Pennsylvania black walnut with the natural edge left intact on both long sides. The grain sweeps from a deep chocolate heartwood into pale sapwood along one corner — a line we chose to keep rather than trim away. Finished with a hand-rubbed oil that sits in the wood rather than on top of it.
